Device platforms created by the Client Services Platform Editor can be created based on Target Definitions provided by the Device runtime.
To use one of the predefined targets, select a Target definition on the Platform Editor Overview page to use as a template for your platform. There are four device targets to choose from:
- The Default Target includes the features placed on a device during a normal Lotus® Expeditor installation.
- The Web Application Target includes features needed to support Web applications.
- The Full Target includes all Lotus Expeditor features.
Note: Installing all features uses a considerable amount of storage space on your device. This includes the webApp target.
- The Non-GUI Target contains a very minimal set of features adequate only for running non-GUI applications. Since there is no GUI support in this target, application shortcuts will not be created on the device. The runtime may be started by launching the \eclipse\LaunchExpeditor link or by copying this link to \Windows\Programs\StartUp and restarting the device.
Once your device platform is created, you can export it using the instructions in Exporting for the Client Services device platform
