® RPM-based installations typically have no install-time customization ability. For Lotus
® Expeditor Client, however, an install.options file can be used to customize some of the initial settings for the platform.
The install.options file cannot be used to change the installation destination directory for the platform. For Linux
RPM installations, the "--prefix <install destination>" command-line options must be used.
Creating an install.options file
A file named install.options must be created in /etc/ibm/expeditor/ before the RPM is installed. This file is a java.io.Properties format file (that is, ASCII characters only with Unicode escapes), and single quotation marks are required around the value (for example, <variable>='<value>'). Use any available text editor on your Linux
system to create this file.
Using an install.options file
The install.options file must be placed in the /etc/ibm/expeditor/
directory before the Lotus
Expeditor Client RPM installation is started.
