If an application that can be synchronized is installed, you can open the Synchronization page from the Launcher to enable or disable synchronization or change priority of an application.
Click the check box under the Enabled column for an application to enable or disable the synchronization of it.
Click the check box under the High Priority column for an application to change between High Priority and Normal Priority for an application. You can also make this selection by right-clicking the application and selecting (or clearing) Use the High-Priority Schedule for this Application
Synchronization is not presented as an option in the Launcher when there are no items to synchronize. There are items to synchronize when there is an available WebSphere
® Portal Server that is configured correctly in platform preferences.
