During some test-installations of the Lotus Foundations Start package we have encountered a few problems... We were almost ready to deploy a few test servers to our customers when we noticed that it seems to be a BIG problem to install Lotus Foundations Start on a server with the HP Smart Array E200i controller.
On the compatibility test two SCSI/IDE-controllers is detected as "Intel" and "Hewlett Packard RAID". But disks are not detected. Listed as "NONE" with red background.
When trying to install the message on the webinterface is :
"No disks detected! Are your drives inserted or locked?"
But they are! I have managed to detect the drives in Ubuntu Linux and in Windows2003 server....
This is so frustrating because we were very close to sell a couple of these servers to some of our customers. (Yes I know about the IBM-box, but we recently sold these HP Proliant ML350 G5-boxes to them).
Anyone else got any luck installing the Lotus Foundations Start server with this storage controller?
