Before beginning the installation and configuration of the IBM® Lotus Foundations™ Rescue features, ensure that you have completed the following tasks:

1. Obtained the following:
• The software activation key for the IBM Lotus Foundations Rescue server. Your activation key is sent to you by email. If you did not receive your activation key, call +1.866.384.8324, and select option 2.
• The software activation key for the IBM Lotus Foundations Start server sending backups to the IBM Lotus Foundations Rescue server.
• Internet service for activation.
  
  
Note: Do not install any add-ons on the designated IBM Lotus Foundations Rescue server. Installing additional add-ons can cause the IBM Lotus Foundations Rescue server activation to fail.
