Table of Contents: IBM Lotus Foundations Rescue Server: FRS12
If vault data needs to be physically transferred to another location, follow these steps:
- Ensure that an auxiliary storage device is installed and recognized by the IBM® Lotus Foundations™ Rescue server.
- Click Vaults in the left menu of WebConfig..
- In the Vault Status section, locate the vault corresponding to the IBM Lotus Foundations Start server for which you want to create an idb device.
- Click the Copy Vault to Disk button for that vault.
- When the idb device is in a state where it can be hot-swapped, remove it from the IBM Lotus Foundations Rescue server. Insert or connect the idb device to the IBM Lotus Foundations Start server to restore the data.
The Copy Vault to Disk feature on the IBM Lotus Foundations Rescue server deletes everything on the idb device before copying the backup files to it. If there is not enough space on the device (for example, backup sets being larger than space available on the idb device), the copy fails.
