Optional: Customization

Setup for IMAP and POP email accounts

If you want to set up Lotus Foundations Branch Office to use IMAP and POP, short names need to be configured on the Domino Enterprise server. Follow these steps:
1.        From the Windows workstation, open IBM Domino Administrator.
2.        Open the server Document for the Lotus Foundations Branch Office server.
3.        Click the Security tab, then select Internet Access.
4.        Change the value of Internet authentication field to More name variations with lower security.
5.        Log into the Lotus Foundations Branch Office server WebConfig console. Click Virtual Servers from the left-side menu. Disable and then re-enable the Lotus Foundations Branch Office add-on to restart the Domino service. Alternatively, you can reboot the Lotus Foundations Branch Office server by clicking Status in the left-side menu and scrolling down to the bottom of the screen and clicking Reboot.
