No abstract provided.

This method destroys the indicated FormNodeP and all of its child nodes.

   public void destroy( ) throws UWIException;

There are no parameters for this method.

Nothing if call is successful or throws a generic exception (UWIException) if an error occurs.

Digital signatures
This function will not destroy a signed item, except in the case of destroying an entire signed form. Attempting to destroy a signed item causes an exception.

In the following example, dereferenceEx locates an item node and destroy removes it from the structure.
   private static void removeRadios( ) throws UWIException
   FormNodeP tempNode;
      if ((tempNode = theForm.dereferenceEx(null, "PAGE1.MALERADIO", 0,
         FormNodeP.UFL_ITEM_REFERENCE, null)) == null)
         throw new UWIException("Could not locate MALERADIO node.");
      tempNode.destroy( );
      /* additional code removed */
