If you plan to use the COM API, you must register the pe_com.dll file with Windows™.

To register the COM DLL:
  1. Open a DOS shell or command prompt.
  2. For example, on Windows 2000 select Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt
  3. On the command line, type:
  4. regsvr32 "<path to pe_com.dll>"

Note: If the path has spaces in it, you must use quotes.

    For example:

    regsvr32 "<span translate="0">C:\Program Files\IBM\Forms Server\8.0\API\redist\Win32\pe_com.dll</span>"

This registers the COM DLL.
