Note that the following methods are not available to extensions that are enclosed within an XFDL form:
  • com.PureEdge.xfdl.XFDL.readForm
  • com.PureEdge.xfdl.FormNodeP.writeForm
  • com.PureEdge.xfdl.FormNodeP.encloseFile
  • com.PureEdge.xfdl.FormNodeP.extractFile
  • com.PureEdge.ifx.IFX.ifxScanForExtensions
In addition extensions that are enclosed within a form cannot execute the following functions on a local computer:
  • Create class loaders.
  • Exit the Java virtual machine.
  • Execute a program.
  • Link to a DLL.
  • Read files.
  • Write files.
  • Delete files.
  • Print.
