|Determines which row of a repeat currently has the focus. Repeats are indexed with a one-based count. For example, the first row is row 1, the second is row 2, and so on.

Returns A number indicating which row has the focus.
Example The following button adds a row to a table of students and test scores. When the button is clicked, the xforms:insert action creates a new row within the table. This insert action uses the index function to determine which row in the table currently has the focus, and then places the new row after the row with the focus.
