Before you can compile custom pipes you must set your development environment's class path to include a number of files.
All JAR files contained in the <Install directory>\ServicesPlatform\redist\development\plugins
directory must be added to your class path. This ensures that all the necessary classes and other build files are available when you compile your pipes.
How your class path is set depends on the development environment you are using. Refer to your integrated development environment (IDE) documentation for details.
Setting the class path in your IDE does not make your packages available at run time. The Forms Services Platform and OSGi use a complex system for class loading that restricts access. By default, not all packages are available from the parent class loader. However, the java.* package and IBM® Forms API and Forms Services Platform objects are always available at run time.
