You use pipeline parameters to pass data between pipelines.
As you add pipe information to the bundle.properties file, you must determine what data is passed in and out of the pipe and trigger the next pipe in the pipeline. Each parameter is contained in a parameter sequence using the following template:
<pipe id>.<pipe instance id>.parameter = parameter_type:parameter_value
The pipe id is also known as the pid
As a best practice, all pipes in a pipeline are given the same instance id, usually the name of the pipeline.
Essentially, pipeline sequences first identify the pipe in use by referencing the pid
, the pipe instance that you are using, and then the parameter you want to use. Following the equals sign comes the parameter type, a colon, and finally, the parameter value.
