Once the main title has been created, you will create section titles and lines.
The graphic below shows the section titles you will create.
- To help with alignment, open the View menu and turn on:
In the Palette, click Text Label.
Move the pointer over the canvas and drop the label on the upper left as shown in the diagram above.
- Show Grid
- Snap to Grid
- Show Rulers
The Properties window opens.
Type Section A: Client Information in the Text area.
Click the A button to change the Font Color to blue.
Click the T button to change the Font size to 12.
Click OK to apply the changes and close the Properties window.
The section title is displayed in 12 font size, and blue.
Click the Section A: Client Information title and drag it below the main title at the 150 pixel vertical position.
Copy and paste Section A: Client Information.
The Section A: Client Information title is pasted on top of the original.
Click the pasted title and drag it below the first title to the 450 pixel vertical position.
Double-click the label to open the Properties window opens.
Change the text to Section B: Travel Information.
In the Palette, click Line.
Click-drag horizontally to the width of the form below the first title and release.
The Properties window opens so you can set the thickness and color of the line. When you click OK, a line is inserted.
Copy and paste the line under the Section B: Travel Information title.
Align below the section title using the grid lines.
Tip: To resize the line, click and drag its edges.
Note: The following three steps are optional.
If you'd like to save the form at this point, click File -> Save.
Click the Viewer tab to preview your work.
Click the Design tab to return to designing your form.
Confirm that the layout is correct.
