Form items marked as public can be mapped to tasks used in workflow system. "Public"
does not mean the information a client enters is available to the general public.
Before items can be marked as public, forms must have the following:
To mark elements as public data:

- Select an item from the Palette and drop it onto the form.
The Properties window opens.
Note: If you already have items in your form, double-click an item to open the Properties window.
- Click the Data tab.
- Click the Public checkbox.
Note: If there is no Public checkbox located under the Data Element field, the item cannot be marked as public.
- Insert a unique identifier into the Public Data Element Name field.
Ensure the name used is unique and will easily identify the specific item.
- Click OK.
The Properties window closes.
