Use content assist when writing or editing in the Source panel.
The Source panel is only visible in the Advanced Designer perspective.
To use content assist:
- Place your cursor in a line of code and then press the following keys to see a list of available:
- options – Place your cursor on a new line and press the less than (<) sign key. A list of options is displayed in a menu. Use the arrow keys to select an option.
- attributes – Place your cursor before the greater than sign (>) and press the space bar. A list of attributes is displayed in a menu. Use the arrow keys to select an attribute.
- values – Place your cursor between the less than (<) and greater than (>) signs and press Ctrl + space bar. A list of values is displayed in a menu.On Chinese operating systems, use Alt + /.
If the Designer finds valid code completion for this cursor position, content assist displays a list of possible suggestions in a popup window.
If there are multiple suggestions, you can type additional letters to refine the list.
Double-click the desired code fragment.
Note: Not all options have attributes or values.
The code fragment is added to your form's source code.
