This step is optional
® Application Server Community Edition installations, and mandatory
Application Server installations.
The installer contains a sample properties file. You can modify the properties provided in the file, or add your own. The properties file must be placed in the extensions
folder for Forms Experience Builder to use the properties.
- Create the following directory:
Go to <install directory>/deploy, and copy the Builder_Config.properties file to the extensions folder created in step 1.
WebSphere Application Server Only: Open the Builder_Config.properties file in a text editor. Enter your IBM WebSphere Application Server administrative user ID and password for the following properties:
- For Windows™ installations: C:\ibm\Forms\extensions
- For Linux™, or AIX® installations: /opt/ibm/Forms/extensions
- ibm.was.MemberManager.adminUser = < Administrative user ID
- ibm.was.MemberManager.adminPass = < Administrative user password
Note: You must set the WebSphere Application Server administrative user ID and password for Forms Experience Builder to run in WebSphere Application Server.
Remove the comment marks from the properties relevant to your installation.
The properties in the Builder_Config.properties are samples. You can add as many properties to the file as your installation requires.
