You can use the window as a dialog box for gathering additional information from the user. You can also use the window to display messages, context-sensitive help text, video, or other web content.
To activate the window, use the viewer.launchModalDialog function from within a compute on your form. The viewer.launchModalDialog function requires a URL of the web page to open. The function also has optional parameters that allow you to specify the size of the window and a title for the window. You can also turn off the header and footer sections.
The following image shows a small sample window. You would generally use a larger window.
