|The sample servlet displays a list of folders and forms in a web browser. It allows you to navigate to forms on the server, open them, and view submissions.
You must have the Webform Server samples installed on your server in order to use the sample servlet. If you have not already done this, see Installing the Webform Server samples
This procedure describes how to open the Insurance Quote Wizard sample form. You can use the same procedure to open any form that is in the WebformSampleApp.ear\Samples.war\SampleForms
folder on WebSphere
® Application Server.
To open the Insurance Quote Wizard sample form with the sample servlet:
Parent topic: Samples - Webform Server
- Verify that the Webform Server samples are installed. Look in the folder WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01\installedApps\<Cell name> for the folder WebformSampleApp.ear.
- Verify the port number of the server that the sample applications are installed on. For a simple installation, the port number is usually 9080. For more complex installations, see Checking the port number for instructions on verifying the port number.
- Open a browser and navigate to http://<host>:<port>/Samples where <host> is the name or IP address of the computer that contains the Webform Server framework, and <port> is the port number from step 2.
The browser displays a list of the folders and forms that are in the WebformSampleApp.ear\Samples.war\SampleForms folder.
- Click InsuranceQuoteWizard.xfdl.
The Insurance Quote Wizard form opens.
