According to the terms of use, it's possible to have multiple internet addresses for a single user.  In LotusLive Notes services only environment, how can we configure multiple internet adresses for a single user ?
Does it mean that a user can receive mail on differents DNS domains, in case this domain have been defined and verified.

Re: Multiple internet addresses for a single user
Thanks for using the LotusLive Notes Forum.

If you have multiple domains verified and configured, then you can certainly have user1@domain1.com and user1@domain2.com.   They would be treated as two separate users, but mail could easily be forwarded from one account to the other via a user mail rule. A rule with this purpose would be configured in domain1 and contain these criteria:  "WHEN all document, THEN send full copy to user1@domain2.com"

An alternative situation would be if you have one domain but a user that needs two addresses.  Let's use User1@domain1.com and SameUserDifferentName@domain1.com as examples.  While we do not support aliases in a hosted environment, you could simply create a new group titled "SameUserDifferentName" and include "User1@domain1.com" in that group.  Mail sent to either address would be delivered to User1@domain1.com

Re: Multiple internet addresses for a single user
Seriously? We have to use up multiple user licenses for a single user to have multiple domain email addresses?

There is no support for aliasing in LotusLive Notes? Why does this feautre exist in iNotes but not Notes?

Re: Multiple internet addresses for a single user
In a Service Only environment, you cannot have multiple email addresses pointing to the same mail user.  So no alaises.

However, in a hybrid environment, you can use aliases.

Internet E-mail Aliases for a Single User - Is this possible in 2016?

I see that the answers were given in 2011.

Has this changed in 2016 where a single user can use multiple aliases for internet e-mail addresses in a Service-Only and Hybrid Environment?

Thanks,

Daniel
