Use the Mobility Client trace facility
to help debug connection failures. Set the Mobility Client trace
facility to High
to provide detailed debugging information. Three
trace files are generated: arttrace.txt, arttrace2.txt, and artginatrc.txt.
By default these files are stored in the Shared Documents folder. However,
the location can be changed by modifying the configuration option in the
After you have enabled tracing and attempted
to connect, look for these instances in the trace files:
- CPort::connect setting bind address
shows the local interface that the client is attempting to connect over.
- Look for the WECM-ECHO flow
or a TCP connection.
