Providing high quality technical content in an innovative way

Lotus Labs is about providing content in new ways: consumable, collaborative, customizable. This page highlights the pilots, projects, and programs we've been working on recently. As you explore each project, make sure to add comments in our Lotus Labs Forum, so we know what you think.

IBM Custom Content Assembler
IBM Custom Content Assembler lets you search for topics, arrange them in any order you like, and then outpt the topics to a custom PDF or HTML file.

Lotus and WebSphere Portal wikis
Share your deployment experiences and best practices in our wikis and help IBM to create scenarios for successful deployments. Contribute to the community by collaborating on shared content and leverage the shared knowledge from that community.

iDoc: add comments to Information Center topics
"iDoc" is the code name for a new feature allowing you to add your comments to IBM Information Centers.

Information Centers for beta programs
To help support Lotus software products in beta, we are hosting the early ("beta") drafts of the Information Centers.

Lotus Domino and Notes Information Center
The Lotus Domino and Notes Information Center organizes all the official documentation for Notes/Domino 8.0 and its major components.

Lotus technical content blogs
There are lots of blogs in the Lotus blogosphere, but these are special because they provide you with technical content directly from the Lotus documentation, learning, and support teams, and because they are examples using the Domino blog template that comes with Lotus Domino.

Documentation Feedback Resolution Database
Submit feedback about Lotus product documentation, find out if your issue has been resolved, and contact the documentation team right from the developerWorks Lotus documentation feedback page.

Information Center viewlets and visual changes
Having richer more interactive and visually appealing content is a goal of the IDC team. We've achieved it by improving the user interface of our information centers and adding viewlets to our documentation offerings.

Technical content landing pages
Find the resources that you need to get started with Lotus Notes and Domino 8, Lotus Connections, Lotus Expeditor, Lotus Forms, Lotus Quickr, and more. These pages are your starting point whether you are a new or an existing customer.
