Providing high quality technical content in an innovative way

Updated June 2009

Have you ever wished you could customize the information that comes with a product?

IBM® Custom Content Assembler provides you with the unique ability to create custom documents by selecting the information you want to keep. Once you are done customizing you can output a PDF or HTML file that only includes the information you selected.

Our proof-of-concept application currently contains documentation for Lotus Sametime Advanced.

Follow these steps to get started:

1 Select a content source 2 Browse content 3 Select topics 4 Create a custom document

IBM Custom Content Assembler provides the following features:

  1. Access to a variety of content types such as product documentation and learning information.
  2. Search for content based on a variety of criteria, such as audience and task.
  3. View collections of topics (known as maps) through a familiar left-hand navigation.
  4. One-click action to create a custom document.
  5. Output the contents of your custom document as PDF or HTML.

Go to About in IBM Custom Content Assembler to learn more.
