The currently supported migration method for Lotus QuickPlace customers is a side-by-side configuration running legacy Lotus QuickPlace and Lotus Quickr 8.2 in independent environments. In this customer scenario, individual places can be copied from the legacy environment to the new one and then upgraded. I am doing a side by side upgrade but what are the best possible ways to copy the old places from the existing quickplace server with less downtime .Also is there any specific QPCONFIG.xml settings to consider for better performance.
