Table 2. Customization features
He has created the place named “Presentations for New Hires", which he summarizes as a place to post drafts and completed presentations to help new hires become acquainted with how to succeed in our corporation
He decides to create a flashy new logo for the place.
Customizations can change the look and feel of a place particularly with graphics such as a company logo that you want to display on a home page.
He hides the Forum, Tasks, and Index components to ensure his people stay focused on the place's main concerns.
He also changes the order of components in the Table of Contents navigator.
He accepts the rest of the default settings for the time being realizing that he can come back here at any time to make further customizations.

Ted wants to create a custom draft upload form that team mates can attach a file to as they work on various shared projects. The default Upload form is lacking in specific information so he wants to customize a form with the exact fields he thinks are important.
He adds a summary field where authors can describe their updates.
And then adds date fields for initial creation and last modified,
Person fields for author and most recent editor,
And a field for adding attachments.
He reorders the fields on the form to place the most important at the top.
He ensures that each new update creates a new version of the document.
And also makes sure that all contributors to a document are notified automatically when updates are made to it.
When Ted had created the place he had added the Presentations Drafts folder under the main Library folder. Now he ties the new Draft Upload form to the Presentation Drafts folder
Reopen the Customize form to show how to access Forms.
Create a simple upload form that will display on the library page instead of the default form. Add the following fields but don't show all field additions.
1. Specify a form title: “Draft Upload”
2. Include date fields that show when the page was initially created and last modified
3. Include fields for author and most recent editors
4. Include a field for adding attachments
5. Include a text area for authors and editors to enter a summary of their changes.
6. Include an option to automatically notify authors when the document gets changed
7. Enable document versioning so that you can restore an earlier draft if needed.
8. Select the presentation Drafts folder as the specific folder where content created with this page form should be placed.
9. Enter "Draft Upload" as the text to be used on the button when the page form is the default button for the Library folder.
Ted wants the newly created Draft Upload form to also display as a button in the library.
By editing the Presentation Drafts folder's properties, Ted ensures that the Presentation Draft folder displays the Draft Upload button properly in this folder.
The new Draft Upload form is now ready to be used by team place members.
Show editing the folder properties to ensure that the Draft Upload button displays.
