Welcome to Working with a list in Lotus® Quickr® for Domino®
The Lists feature enables Lotus Quickr users to add and customize sets of "structured content" such as lists of customer contacts, issues, product catalogs, announcements, and project tasks.
Ted Amado starts to create a list in a library for a Course catalog. The intent is for members of Ted's Education and Training division to collect and post proposed courses for inclusion in the 2012 course catalog.

Show Import
After starting the course catalog list in the place library, Ted learns that his colleague Samantha Daryn has already started a spreadsheet of course catalog items, so he simply imports her spreadsheet into the list.
The import process recognizes where there might be issues with the imported content and prompts for approval before completing the import.
After the import completes, the list is populated from the spreadsheet.
With a seeded list, team members can add new items to the list when desired. This is what Ted directs place members to do.

Instructors and course planners can update the list, add listings, and change how they view the list by sorting on different columns.
For example, a place member adds a new course.
After the list has been amplified by place members for a certain amount of time, Ted decides it's time to begin assigning courses to instructors. He adds another column for instructor names.
Ted notices that he misspelled the word "internal" in the list's summary so he edits the list's properties to fix his typo.
Show fixing the typo using > More Actions > List Properties.
After adding the Instructor field, Ted moves the Instructor field into the 2nd column position and puts the Summary column at the end of the view.
Click Customize > View.
Move Instructor to 2nd column position.
Move Summary to far right position

Show Export
At some point it is decided that the course listings should be created as printed collateral and in PDF format so the decision is made to export the list to Lotus Symphony for further production.
Click Actions > Export.
Within Symphony with the file open, click File > Exportand show that the format is to PDF.
