Selecting a different language

Users and administrators (using Site Administration) can select their preferred language when using Lotus® Quickr™.

About this task

Multiple languages can now be supported by a single server, allowing for deployment of fewer servers. Multiple language support is enabled for the Lotus Quickr 8.5 and 8.2 themes on the Lotus Quickr server. Multiple language support for Site administration and the Creating a place activity is also enabled.

Procedure

1. Access the Language preferences in your browser:
• In Microsoft® Internet Explorer: Click Tools -> Internet Options and then click the Languages button.
• In Firefox: Click Tools -> Options -> Content tab page, and then click the Choose button for Choose your preferred language when displaying pages.
  
  
2. Configure Languages in order of preference by adding a new language and then moving it to the top.
3. Access a place to verify that it shows the new selected language.
