There are 3 Galleries in the Template - Audio, Photos and Videos. Each gallery takes an XML feed which is constructed from the media files saved in the published pages.
The Audio Gallery
The Audio Gallery has it's playlist populated from the Audio folder by using Domino/Notes design to create a view and a view template form so that when opened, the view and form will dynamically build the XML file. This XML data will then be fed into the player to create the playlist. The audio player has a full set of audio player controls, play, stop, forward, rewind and pause. The player displays thumbnails and file titles and plays mp3 files..
The Photo Gallery
The Photo Gallery is populated from the Photo folder by using the same Domino\Notes design technique to create a view and a view template form so that when opened, the view and form will dynamically build the XML file. This XML data will then be fed into the Gallery to create the gallery. The Photo Gallery loads the photos as thumbnails and when selected displays the photo along with showing the photo description in the main pane. Another option is to display the photos in a Slideshow, there is a full set of controls to play the Slideshow, pause, rewind and forward the photos.
The Video Gallery
The Video Gallery which plays .flv files uses the same Gallery software as the Photo Gallery and is populated from the Video folder The video gallery loads the videos as thumbnails and when selected plays the video along showing the video description in the Main pane. The video controls play the video, rewind to start and control the volume. Another option is to display the videos in a Slideshow, there is a full set of controls to play, pause, rewind and forward the Slideshow.
