To enable online meetings for Team Workplace users, complete the following steps:
1.        Copying the Java files required for online meetings
2.        Specifying the Web Conferencing authentication name.
3.        Specifying Sametime Community server in Team Workplace.

Copying the Java files required for online meetings.

Follow these steps to copy the Java files.
1.        Copy the following files from the Domino program directory of the Sametime Meeting server (C:\Lotus\Domino) to the Domino Program directory on the Quickr   server (C:\Lotus\Domino).
STMtgManagement.jar
STCore.jar
ServiceLocator.properties
sametime.ini
2.        Open the notes.ini file from the Domino program directory on the Quickr server in a text editor.
3.        Modify the notes.ini setting JavaUserClassesExt to add the STMtgManagement.jar and STCore.jar files.
JavaUserClassesExt=QPJC1,QPJC2,QPJC3,QPJC4
QPJC1=C:\LOTUS\DOMINO\quickplace.jar
QPJC2=C:\LOTUS\DOMINO\log4j-118compat.jar
QPJC3=C:\LOTUS\DOMINO\STCore.jar
QPJC4=C:\LOTUS\DOMINO\STMtgManagement.jar
4.        Save and close thenotes.inifile.


Specify the Web conferencing authentication name

The Lotus Quickr server must authenticate with the meeting APIs to create the online meeting. The user should exist in the Domino Directory (names.nsf) on the Sametime server. If the user also exists in the LDAP directory used by Sametime server andmust have SametimeAdminยท role to stconfig.nsf. Follow these steps to test this.
1.        Go to http://sametime.domain.com/stcenter.nsf  
2.        Click on Administer the Server. Enter username/password you enter the username/password that meet the criteria above. If you gain access to the Sametime Administration console, you have the correct user.
Note:
Make sure to use the Notes canonical format (Domino Admin/IBM) of the user in the username field.

Follow these steps to update Lotus Quickr with user with which to authenticate.
1.        Open the fileqpconfig.xml, located in the Domino_data directory (C:\Lotus\Domino\Data) in a text editor.
2.        Scroll down to the Sametime section. Remove the following lines from the beginning and end of the < sametime> section, respectively:

3.        Modify the sametime tags for your environment:

Note:
The user you specify in credentials and must satisfy the following conditions:
- The user should exist only in the Domino Directory of Sametime; the user should not be listed in the LDAP directory used by Sametime.
- The user should be an administrator of Sametime.
To test this, go to:http://sametime.lotus.com/stcenter.nsf. Click Administer the Server. For the user name and password that you enter here, you will need to enter the Domino canonical user name and password into the credentials section of the qpconfig.xml file.
4.        Save and close the XML file.

Specify Sametime Community Server in Team Workplace

Follow these steps to specify the Sametime Community server in Team Workplace.
1.        Open a browser and enter the URL of the QuickPlace server administration console: (http://ghquickr5.lotus.com/quickplaceor/lotusquickr).
2.        Click Sign In on the left side of the page.
3.        Enter the user name and password of a Quickr server administrator.
4.        Click Site Administration in the table of contents.
5.        Click Other Options in the table of contents.
6.        Scroll down and click Edit Options.
7.        Under Sametime Servers > Sametime Meeting Server, type the full URL of the Sametime meeting server (http://sametime.lotus.com).


8.        Restart the Lotus Quickr server and you should be able to create online meetings from Lotus Quickr.


Test creating online meetings from Lotus Quickr

Follow these steps to test creating an online meeting.
1.        Open your browser to a Lotus Quickr place and sign in.
2.        Select Create > Online Meeting.
3.        Enter the information for the meeting you want to create and click Create.



You should now see a meeting details page, with a URL to attend the meeting.
