New standard place for teams theme
New browser-based rich text editor
The Quickr Standard Theme is the default for the Standard place for Teams. Creating a place using the standard theme give users the Quickr 8.5 Web client and user experience with all the latest features, functionality, and capabilities such as:.
- Simplified file uploads to a place library
- Ability to add and customize lists of "structured content" such as customer contacts, issues, product catalogs, announcements, and project tasks.
- What's New feed
- The capability to integrate a Lotus® Quickr calendar into a Lotus Notes® calendar
- Page support from any of the IBM Lotus Connectors
A rich text editor that provides full fidelity of text formatting from editors such as Microsoft® Word or Lotus Symphony when copy/paste is used. Embedded graphics, however, still need to be inserted separately using the editor's Insert Image capability.New place Home page and What's New
A single-tabbed, editable home page users can customize easily to reflect the purpose and scope of their places, and easy access to the latest place updates are available from the Place Actions menu.General performance and navigation improvements

Multiple languages can now be supported by a single server, allowing for deployment of fewer servers. Multiple language support is enabled for the Lotus Quickr 8.5 and 8.2 themes on the Lotus Quickr server. Multiple language support for Site administration and the Creating a place activity is also enabled.Round-trip editing
With the place connector for Microsoft Office/Explorer or Lotus Symphony installed, users can check out and edit a file stored in a place's library as an uploaded file or page attachment. When updates to the file are complete, users can check it into the library directly from the connector editing application, from the library, or from another connector.Trash
Place members can delete pages and folders to Trash folder as well as restore deleted content from the Trash folder.More robust discussion forum
A place manager can create, edit, and delete a new discussion forum so that others can contribute to a discussion on the topic. Users can open a discussion forum and see the threaded discussion to easily create, view, and delete a new topic. Others can join the discussion on the topics they are interested in. A place manager can pin a topic so that it always displays at the top of the topic list in a forum.New Tasks Assigned to Me view
