You can view a list of the templates on the site and assign policies to these templates from the templates catalog.
To access the templates catalog, click Templates
in Places Administration
. The templates catalog lists all of the templates in your site in a table view. Explore the templates catalog as you refer to this topic to learn more about how you can work with templates in Places Administration.
Modifying how templates are displayed
You can modify how templates are displayed in the templates catalog by sorting information.
Sort by column header
Sort the list of templates by the column headers: Title, Owner, Assigned Policy, Last modified and Status.
Working with templates
The More Actions
menu allows you to import and export templates, edit existing templates, unlock templates and delete templates. The Assign policy
button allows you to assign a different policy to a template.
You can also click Manage Templates
to access the WebSphere® Portal templates catalog. From here you can access some additional actions with templates, such as editing the portlets and pages of a template layout and managing template roles.
Printing the templates catalog
to organize the information in your templates catalog in a format that you can print or copy the contents to other applications.
Subscribing to the templates feed
You can subscribe to the templates feed. If your browser is feed-aware, you can immediately add feed subscriptions. If not, you will need to install a feed-reader before you can add feed subscriptions. If your browser is feed-aware, click Subscribe
. Your browser will prompt you to subscribe to the current page. If your browser is not feed-aware, right-click on Subscribe
and use your browser's copy link or copy shortcut feature to copy the link into your feed-reader. Refer to your browser documentation for further information.
