The list viewer is used to display lists in customized presentation templates.
The list viewer is designed only to display a list using a customized presentation template.
To use a list viewer, you must first create customized presentation templates.
When you select a list item in a list, the list item will be opened in the original list component, not in the list viewer.
To configure a list viewer:
- Navigate to the list viewer you want to configure and click Edit shared settings. You must have manager access to edit the shared settings of a list viewer.
- Select a list to display in the list viewer.
- Select a presentation template to use when displaying the list. You can only select presentation templates stored in a customized Web content library. You cannot select presentation templates stored in place component libraries.
- Click OK.
