Create a library when creating a place.
The best time to create a new library is when you are setting up a new place. Generally, the reasons that you need a new library are the same reasons that you need a new place: a related set of content needs to be shared by a specific group of people.
You can create a library in these two situations:
- Create a place using a template that includes a library. The library is created automatically during place creation.
- Customize an existing place and add a library.
The name of a library is, by default, the same as the name of the place containing the library. If you add more than one library to a place, the subsequent library names are appended with a unique identifier number such as Library-2. You can change the library name by editing the library properties.
