When editing content items with the Web content authoring portlet, you might see @nls@
strings as values for some text fields, such as a display title (for example, @email@example.com@
). A @nls@
string is used by Lotus® Quickr™ to enable the globalization of certain fields, so that translated content is correctly displayed based on the user's language setting. To ensure proper translation of these fields, do not change the values for any @nls@ strings.
Note that a @nls@
string is only displayed when a content item is being edited; if you are just viewing the content item, the @nls@
string is replaced by meaningful text in the correct language. For example, @firstname.lastname@example.org@
might display as Manage Blog Posts Page
