The JSESSIONID cookie must be configured for the proxy to function correctly. Verify that the JSESSIONID cookie is configured correctly in the WebSphere® Application Server administrative console if your proxy configuration is not working, .
Additional cookie names may need to be added to the allowed list if a change to the cookie name is desired. The new cookie name needs to be modified in the proxy configuration.
Use the following steps to configure the JSESSIONID cookie:
- Log in to the WebSphere Application Server administrative console.
- Click Servers -> Application servers.
- Click server1.
- Click Session management in Container Settings.
- Click Enable cookies.
- Enter JSESSIONID in the Cookie name field.
- Click OK.
