Checking whether the Chat action appears tells you whether single sign-on is operating properly between the IBM® Lotus® Quickr™ for WebSphere Portal server and the IBM Lotus Sametime® server.
Perform the following steps:
- Log in to Lotus Quickr.
- Select Public Places or My Places.
- Check for the appearance of green rectangles next to user names.
- Hover the cursor over a user name that has a green rectangle (you can use your own name for this test) until the profile appears.
You should see the Chat action at the bottom of the profile. If the action does not appear, single sign-on is not working. You can search the knowledge bases for troubleshooting instructions and solutions. See Searching knowledge bases
