You can assign a policy that applies customized limits and warning notifications to one or multiple places.
The places catalog displays the policies acting on the places in the site. When you do not assign a policy to a place, a place inherits the policy assigned to the template that is used to create the place. By assigning a policy to a place, you can override the policy assigned to the template with a policy that is more tailored to the needs of the place.
- From Place Administration, click Places.
- Select the check box next to a place name in the places catalog.
Note: You can assign a policy to multiple places by selecting all of the check boxes that apply.
- Click Assign policy.
- Select a policy to assign to your place from the list.
- Click OK to finish assigning the policy to a place.
