Use the qptool report
command to pull information from the Place Catalog to generate reports about servers that include these statistics: Name, Access Protocol, Access TCP Port, Access URL Prefix.
About this task
can gather information from all servers in a cluster. However, if the results of the report command are supplied as input to another qptool
command, the other command only acts immediately on the places on the server from which you issue the command.
Perform the following steps to generate reports on servers registered in the Place Catalog:
- Make sure the Place Catalog is full-text indexed.
- Enter the following command at the server console:
load qptool report arguments

|-?||Prints help on the command.|
|-s||Generates a report using information in the PlaceServers view for all servers listed in the Place Catalog.|
|-o outputfilename ||XML output file that logs the results of the command. By default the command logs results to qptool.report.xml in the server program directory.|
