I seem to have the same problem with LS 3.5 and IE 6.
The ACL is correct for logging on to the course however when returning to the Welcome page there are non-stop prompts for the password until the unauthorised message comes up.
I've tested the db with the following results:
- Netscape 4.5, IE5 & IE 5.5 Could not display welcome page but no password prompt
- IE 6 Constant password prompt
- Netscape 5.5 Constant password prompt
Therefore I would think it's a problem with the setup of the welcome page rather than the browser. Though unfortunately no solution.
