I have a strange behaviour on my LS5.01 server. I have a course which contains out of 2 parts. Part 1 is the theoratical stuff and the other part is the questionaire about part 1. Part 1 only consists of some simple HTML files with some CMI command in the last HTML file of part 1. Part 2 is made with the assesment tool of LS itself and consists of 10 simple questions. Part 1 is set to not scored and part 2 is set to scored.
Now when a student logs in and opens part 1 of the course and he scroll trough the complete activity the status of the course is updated to "Incomplete" and the activity is updated to "Completed". All looks okay at this point but when the student starts with the assesment and fill in all the questions with the correct answers the assesment gets the status "Passed" but the course status is set to "Failed". This behaviour is quite strange as all the scored items (only part 2) are being set to "Passed" but still the course gets the status "Failed".
When I change the behaviour of part 1 so that it doesn't set the activity to the status "Completed" but to the status "Passed" all works okay.
Is this behaviour a known problem ? and is there a solution to it ?
