How to change the macro security settings to control under what circumstances macros can be run when you open a spreadsheet
In Symphony, you can change the macro security settings to control under what circumstances macros can be run when you open a spreadsheet.

Macro Security settings and their effects
In Symphony, there are four types of macro security levels. They are:
1. Low (not recommended)
All macros will be executed without confirmation. Use this settings only if you are certain that all documents that will be opened are safe.
2. Medium
Confirmation required before executing macros from untrusted sources.
3. High
Only signed macros from trusted sources are allowed to run. Unsigned macros are disabled.
4. Very high
Only macros from trusted file locations are allowed to run. All other macros, regardless whether signed or not, are disabled.

Change macro security settings
You can change macro security settings in the preferences page.
1. Open the preferences page through File -> Preferences
2. Open the macro security settings page as follows

3. In the macro security page, click the option that you want.
