1. Symphony VBA Load/Save properties:

In Symphony 3 preferences, there is a page named “VBA Properties”, in this page, you can set the option for loading/saving VBA in Symphony.
1.1. “Load BASIC code”: If you do not want to load any VBA macro codes in Microsoft documents, uncheck this option.
1.2. “Executable code”: If you uncheck this option, the VBA macro codes in Microsoft documents will be commented out after open.
1.3. “Save original BASIC code”: If you uncheck this option, the original BASIC code will not be saved, it means the saved document will not have any VBA macro codes.

2. If you want to find out which VBA APIs are supported in your documents, which VBA APIs are not supported, please install the plugin in Symphony 3:
The plugin name is “VBA Scan Tool: Scan the Excel files with VBA macros and generate scan report”, link is here: http://www.ibm.com/software/lotus/symphony/plugin.nsf/home
