During startup of the Mashups server, the server may try to communicate with the database server.
You may see an error message similar to the following:
[1/23/13 8:42:10:922 EST] 00000015 E
readSpacesByOwner BMWSD0429E: An SQLException was encountered while
communicating with the database. Error code: -204, SQL State: 42704,

--- The error occurred while applying a parameter map.
--- Check the readSpaceNodesByOwner-InlineParameterMap.
--- Check the statement (query failed).
--- Cause: com.ibm.db2.jcc.a.nn: DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-204,
SQLSTATE=42704, SQLERRMC=MASHUPS.SPACENODE, DRIVER=3.52.95
This error message indicates that the database does not recognize the schema that is being used. From the error message you can see that it is trying to use the schema "MASHUPS". If the schema for the database has been changed to something other than MASHUPS, then this error will occur. The schema for the database might be different if Business Space or Case Manager are being used, but the configuration is using the default schema name of MASHIUPS.
This can be corrected by updating the schema name in configService.properties. The configService.properties file can be found in the MashupCenter_install_root/mm/config directory. For example if the database is using the schema "MYSCHEMA", then edit configService.properties and change schema = MASHUPS to schema = MYSCHEMA. Make the change in the configService.properties file, save the file and restart the server.
