Enabling automatic wiring for widgets

Enable automatic wiring for widgets when you want users to be able to wire widgets automatically by dragging and dropping one widget on top of another on the mashup page. Users must enable automatic wiring for the mashup page in order to wire widgets automatically.

Procedure

1. Open catalog.xml for each widget that you want to be enabled for automatic wiring.
2. Add the following line to each widget XML file:
   

<metadata name=“com.ibm.mashups.builder.autoWiringEnabled">true/false</metadata>



3. Save your changes.
