In this tutorial, you will learn the end-to-end process of using IBM® Mashup Center to create a real-world mashup and publish it to the catalog for others to use. You will learn how to turn data from a spreadsheet into a format that you can use in your mashups and then display the data in a widget. You will also learn how to create a new feed by manipulating the output of an existing feed and then adding it your mashup.
Note: In this tutorial, you will use the Navteq Map widget. In order to use the Navteq Map widget, your administrator must obtain a license key and add it to the widget definition file on the Mashup Center server. If you find that the widget is not working properly, consult your administrator to make sure that the license has been added. For more information about how an administrator can enable the Navteq Map widget, see
Enabling the Navteq Map widget for users. This does not apply to the version of Mashup Center that is hosted on the
Lotus Greenhouse website.
