The Image widget displays an image that is uploaded from a URL.

Configuration tips

When uploading an image from a URL, and you think the URL may change, you may want to save the image to the Lotus Mashups server and upload it from there. This way, the image will be part of the widget definition and will always be available when widgets are reused in other pages.

Send Receive
This widget does not send content. This widget does not receive content.

Example scenario

Goal:
Display your company logo in the mashup application.

Steps required:

Drag the Image widget onto the page.

Hover your cursor over the Image widget, click the menu options icon , and select Edit Settings.

In the configuration window, paste the fully qualified URL to the image in the URL field, and click Show. Now the image displays in the Image widget. To change the image, reopen the configuration and replace the URL with one that points to the new image.
