IBM Mashup Center is supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. You can download the installation package from IBM Passport Advantage or use the product from the provided installation media.

Before you begin



Review the steps for preparing Linux systems for installation on a WebSphere Application Server.

Review the steps for preparing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 for installation.

Procedure



1. Insert the product CD.
2. Go to the root directory of the CD where the installation file is located and run the following installation command:
launchpad.sh

A wizard will guide you through the installation steps.

Silent installation is available if you do not wish to use the installation wizard or for environments with no graphical console available. To run a silent installation, refer to SilentInstall.properties in the root directory of the CD.
