This topic describes how to enable certain properties on the proxy server to allow users to connect to the WebDAV file store using a WebDAV client.
When integrating a reverse proxy server with Lotus® Mashups, the tunnel.mode
property is set to true in the MashupCenter_install_root/mm/config/ConfigServices.properties
file. However, since the PUT, DELETE, PROPFIND, MKCOL, MOVE, and COPY methods are disabled on the proxy server by default, access control might not function properly, and a tunneling issue might result, which means that users might not be able to connect to the WebDAV file store using a WebDAV client such as WebDrive. To prevent this connection failure, manually enable the PUT, DELETE, PROPFIND, MKCOL, MOVE, and COPY methods on the proxy server. For example, when using the IBM Edge Caching Proxy Server, do the following steps:
- Open the ibmproxy.conf file in ..\\cp\\etc\\en_US.
- Add the following settings:
Restart the proxy server.
- Enable PUT
- Enable DELETE
- Enable PROPFIND WithBody
- Enable MKCOL WithBody
- Enable MOVE WithBody
- Enable COPY WithBody
