Configuration settings for generated widgets
Enable "Add to" button by default
Controls whether the Add To button setting is on or off when users create or edit widgets. If selected, the Add To button will be included in new widgets by default. When editing an exiting widget, the setting used when the widget was created will be used. In either case, users can change the setting to include the Add To button regardless of the setting selected on this page. iWidget runtime
The default server for the iWidget software that is included with Mashup Center. Change this value if your installation requires a different iWidget server.Shindig server
The default Shindig server that is included with Mashup Center. Change this value if your installation requires a different Shindig server.NAVTEQ Maps API key
Map widgets created by users require a NAVTEQ Maps license to run on a specified server. To enable users to create and use map widgets in MashupHub, enter the license key supplied by NAVTEQ.
If the map widget renders a blank map, try resolving the issue in the following ways:
- Clear the cache from the client browser to ensure that the browser is receiving the correct license key from the server.
- Access to the map is restricted by host name. Map widgets only work with the localhost and the host names that you provided to NAVTEQ when you registered your key. Contact NAVTEQ if you need to register additional host names.
- Make sure that your trial or existing license key has not expired. You can contact NAVTEQ to purchase new or additional standard keys.
Default URLs for widget target applications
When users click the Add To
button in a widget, a list of target applications is displayed that they can add the widget to. Each application in the "Add To" target menu has an input field for specifying the URL to the selected target application. The target applications and the default URLs that the users see in the "Add to" dialog are listed in this page. The default values that you specify must include the hostname, port, and the context root. Common port and context root values are prepopulated in the fields.
If users do not have access to these applications, delete the default values so that the fields are blank. If the default value is blank, when users select the application they will not see a URL that they might think is valid. However, users who do have access to the application can still enter the URL.
