An administrator can add, replace, or delete the user-defined functions (UDFs) that are displayed in the functions list in the data mashup builder.
Make sure that the external Java™ code that is in the UDF package comes from a trusted source.
- Log on to MashupHub as an administrator.
- Click Settings at the top of the window.
- Select Extensions -> Manage UDFs.
Add a UDF package
Specify the location for a new UDF package, and then click Add
. The package must be a .zip file with a unique file name. Users will see the new functions in the package the next time they log in to Mashup Center.
Replace a UDF package
Select the UDF package that you want to replace. Use this option to upgrade a UDF package. Specify the location for a new UDF package, and then click Replace
. The package must be a .zip file.
The new functions in the package will be available to users the next time that they log in to Mashup Center.
If existing functions are not present in the replacement package, any data mashups that use the removed functions will fail.
Delete a UDF package
Select the UDF package that you want to remove and click Delete
Any data mashups that use the removed functions will fail.
